In real life, the importance and characteristics of a shuttlecock can be observed in bird’s wings. We are sure to know the importance of wings to birds. Without those special wings, the birds cannot make itself fly in air. But not all birds with wings can fly high. The most crucial part for the birds to fly high is the shape and length of the wings. In some cases the weight of the bird is also matters for it to fly. Generally long wings give the birds more strength for it to fly higher and the ability to stay longer in air. It also gives it chance to fly extremely stable in higher range.

Any object that moves in air deals with aerodynamic. The wings of birds and the way a bird flies and stabilize itself is a beautiful example of aerodynamic properties in nature. If we compare it with shuttlecock , a shuttlecock also in such a shape which enable it to fly in air higher and stabilize itself when on motion. A bird when wants to reach the ground in high speed will keep the head steep to balance itself to move in high velocity. Similarly, when the shuttlecock deceralate and fall to ground it will still fly with the cork part infront.
